Guinness World Record

Childhood dreams were realised today when we were awarded our Guinness World Record, recognising the achievement of the Mix 4+ at the 2019 World Championships when we broke the World Record in our event in Linz, Austria.

The World Record was broken on 29 August 2019 in a time of 6:49.240 and we were delighted to be featured in the 2020 Guinness Book of Records. We were issued our certificates today, which also coincides with the 100 days to go marker for the Paralympic Games.

Things are moving fast this year and it feels like the milestones keep falling! We are working hard towards selection next month and staying focused on the next day’s training, rather than thinking too far ahead.
